FYI - the hex shank is 5/16"

Nice quality product. Elegant simplicity with durability. However, I wish they said in the description the size of the hex shank. I purchased a driver with the standard 1/4" hex slot, but it was too small. The diameter of the hex stock for this product is 5/16". You don't really need a driver handle to use it, but it would be nice. I wish I could find a handle that was the right size.

Solid product

This is a solid, well-built tool that can be thrown in the toolbox and you won't have to worry about it. Steel construction, quality manufacturing, worked perfectly for removing cores. I've never been let down with Motion Pro, and this is another fine example of their quality tools and products.

Works but a little tall

This worked to remove the valve core on my motorcycle tires, however, it was a little tall. There was just barely enough clearance to the spoke to remove the valve core, but in the end it did the job. Double check the position of your spokes in relation to the valve stem. Its about 3.5 inches tall.
