Great Product!

There is not a quicker and easier way to do a ball joint job, the time savings more than offsets the extra cost over just replacing the ball joint only, plus you get new bushings!!

Cheap quality. After installing, a lot of weird noise is heard from the suspension when pushing the brake or during acceleration.

Just Right

My 2002 Pontiac Grand Am with ~125k miles needed the rear control arm bushings replaced. I went ahead and bought the bushings themselves (25$ for both sides) based on a recommendation by a mechanic that I could do it myself. After spending a week trying to get the darn things *out*, I bent one of the original control arms trying to put the new ones in. Ugh.I bought these on Amazon and they were here in two days, with all new bushings all the way around, just right. I did as I read in another review and took the brake caliper and rotor off and jacked up the "wheel" at the brake rotor mounting plate, so I could get the new arm in. It went in just right.This product is "just right", and I don't give five stars easily. The packaging was good and protective, there was even a plastic cover over the sealed whole lubed ball joint and boot assembly to protect it during shipment. There was also a new castle nut for the ball joint post and even a new cotter pin. I read some other reviews for a similar replacement part by a different manufacturer where the ball joint didn't even come with a boot, so I was glad to find that this one had one (just exactly as it does in the picture).All in all, it feels good having replaced the whole control arm, having gotten rid of the old rusted out one, and having a new ball joint and bushings all around. For the money and ease, I definitely would do this over trying to do the bushings myself again. For $60 price difference, just do the whole thing. But I'm going to hope these ones last for a while and I don't ever have to do this repair again.
