It's alright

Looks like metal, but it is really just plastic-y. it does it's job but it is just kinda cheap feeling.

Not Accurate or Consistent

I got this for my girlfriend to keep in her car as 2 of her tires have been leaking small amounts of air. The first thing I noticed about this gauge was that it was made of very light plastic as opposed to some form of metal, which I am used to. Also, the stick was 2 sided (like a popsicle stick) as opposed to being 4 sided like a long cube. In order to test the accuracy I measured the air in all 4 tires with this gauge and then again with a more reliable gauge. This pencil gauge was off by several PSI on all 4 tires. The most annoying part was that it was inconsistent. I could deal with it being wrong if it was consistent (always 5 PSI above the correct amount, or 8 PSI below the correct amount), but this was all over the place. This is what it looked like:Front Left...32 PSI vs. 27 PSIFront Right..32 PSI vs. 26 PSIBack Left....32 PSI vs. 29 PSIBack Right...31 PSI vs. 25 PSIAlthough the amounts for this gauge were all pretty close to one another (25-29 PSI), it is still annoying that it can't read the correct amount or a consistent amount each time. Needless to say this got tossed in the glove box, and probably won't be coming out.I would NOT recommend this product to others. Instead, invest in a nice metallic one with a 4-sided cube as a stick that moves very smoothly. The other option is a digital gauge, but if the batteries go out, then you are stuck with nothing.
